PROMPT, COUNCIL-AUTHORISED HSTP SERVICING

If you live on acreage, or in a rural or unsewered area, then you will probably depend on a Home Sewage Treatment Plant (HSTP) to process household and/or commercial sewage and water waste.

COUNCIL REQUIREMENTS

Regular HSTP system maintenance is a council requirement for Queensland property owners utilising onsite sewage processing systems. As an authorised service agent for a number of city and rural Councils, Bioworx can help you fulfil this safety and legal requirements cost-effectively  and reliably on a regular service plan. 

OUR HSTP SERVICE PLAN COVERS THE FOLLOWING:

Our servicing report lists all the elements we check in your HSTP system. Where relevant, your service technician will examine the following:

PRICING

We have endeavoured to make our services as affordable as possible. Below is a rough guide to our pricing for house hold sewerage system servicing:

  • Standard aerated HSTP system – from $80/quarter or from $300/year (for systems such as Taylex, Enviro Cycle, Bio Cycle, Septec, Bio Treat, Aqua Nova, Bio Septic, Econo Cycle, Krystal Clear)
     
  • Nature Flow media filter filtration system – from $205/year (usually require annual servicing only; for chlorinated systems for $30, we can provide you with 2 additional tubs of chlorine to add to your system hallway between services)
     
  • Water Tech media filter filtration – from $267/year (usually require annual servicing only)
     
  • Eco Safe/Enviro Tech HSTP system – from $150/year (usually require annual servicing only)
     
  • Treat Rite HSTP system – from $205/year (usually require annual servicing only) 
     
  • Nature Flow UV drinking water tank system – from $185/six months (usually serviced 6 monthly, with filters changed annually – filters extra )

HOW IT WORKS

Depending on your system type, and your local council requirements, we will service your HSTP system annually, quarterly (every 13 weeks), or however regularly it is required.
We complete and send the required report to your council, advise on any issues or problems, and recommend any necessary repairs.
 

YOUR FIRST SERVICE

Our technician will provide you with a handy HSTP booklet, and can also answer any questions you may have. If desired, they will explain how your system works, and provide you with troubleshooting advice.
